Soul Questing
From IConnecting
The workshop enables us to answer these questions from our own experience:
Do we have soul? If so, where is it? - and what does it do?
and
What do we refer to when we use the word "self"?
We can find the answers for ourselves by becoming more aware of our own unique soul and spirit.
Kristina Kaine, in her book I Connecting : The Soul's Quest gives simple and refreshing new understandings of the complex nature of the human being.
Have you ever looked into a coffin to see the lifeless body lying there? This is when we realise that the personality we knew is no longer present. We recognise the face and then it hits us how much more there is to us than a physical body.
To understand 'self' and 'soul' we need to look at insights and data from many fields. Kristina shows how to place them into a framework to create a more insightful experience of one’s relationship with self and with others.
History reveals that people change; we evolve, not simply in a Darwinian sense, which tracks our physical changes, but also by growing in soul and spirit. History is a great benchmark for the evolution of consciousness. Those who wonder whether we have a soul or not, will find history a fruitful place to search for the signs of the evolution of man’s soul and spirit.
"Our body is like a cage, and our spirit is like a bird … if the cage becomes broken, the bird will continue to exist: its feelings will be even more powerful, its perceptions greater ... .." [‘Abdu’l-Bahá, son of Bahá’u’llá].
Kristina Kaine has studied human nature for 40 years. Her business career has always been human resources related.
Through years of study she has developed a simple way of understanding human nature. By identifying the difference between our body, soul and spirit Kristina has enabled people to actually experience their inner nature. When we become aware of the way we connect our private being with the outside world we are transformed. The key to her work is the use of everyday language.
"Hello Kristina, I have just finished a first reading of your book I Connecting. I must say thank you for giving this knowledge to me. I have read that when the pupil is ready the teacher will appear. This adage fits in respect to what I have gained and will further gain as I develop in the soul work involved. I have been personally studying Anthroposophy for 22 years now since attending Parsifal College. I have gained considerable knowledge over those years but due to circumstances and a lack of consistent will I have not used this knowledge to undertake a structured spiritual training. I feel now you have given me a framework from which to work from. You have painted a picture that I can embellish and make my own. I am truly grateful. 2012
